When it comes to taking pictures, there are quite a large number of people who find it exciting. Yet, there are as well quite a large number of people who find that taking still pictures alone is not as exciting as taking the motion pictures a.k.a. recording videos. And I am one of such persons. This may, in fact, be the reason why Canon has managed once again to release another new product which is the Canon Vixia HF200.

This Canon Vixia HF200 comes with a 15x video lens with high definition quality. Then, Canon also plans to make things better by pairing the HD video lens with a SuperRange Canon optical image stabilizer. With this stabilizer, it is possible for the user to prevent blur and obtain a clearer picture even though from quite a long distance.

Also, with the video lens, it is possible for the user to record high definition videos that have a resolution of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels. There is 24p for cinema mode and 30p for the progressive mode. And, there is also a dual shot mode for easier picture capturing as well as video recording.

However, there is something that I find quite uncomfortable with this Canon Vixia HF200. It is that this particular camcorder model lacks of internal memory capacity making it a requirement to separately purchase the SDHC flash memory cards that have quite a huge capacity. Huge capacity is important because the videos recorded with this camcorder model are the high definition videos which are, usually, large in size.
